Apples to Apples (What Does that even Mean?)

I’m currently watching my friends play Apples to Apples. But like, what the heck kind of a name is that? What does it mean?!

And the pictures of creepy, slightly messed up apples is just scary, okay? It just stares at you with its jaw dropping in some sort of gasp / smile. Freaky.

Seriously, though. That will give the PARENTS nightmares, let alone the kids. I walked in the cloakroom and asked, “Hey, what’re you guys playing?”

And I glance down. I literally, seriously, really, truly (positively) screamed. It was actually more scary than Voldemort (the one whom shall not be named), and believe me, THAT was frightening.

Okay, that’s all for now.

And may the force be with you. Maybe. I honestly don’t know or just don’t care.

Kids Plan the Day & TGIF

Kids Plan the Day is something the class has been looking forward to for awhile. But before we can get it, we have to earn it. And that’s the hard part.

First, it’s nearly impossible to get the reward. I, and a few other troublemakers in the class, try to follow the rules (maybe) but it NEVER works. And we only have one more week to try and earn it before the teacher won’t give us a Kids Plan the Day! (Wow, Ms. I’m-Not-Going-To-Say-Your-Name. )

But besides that, TGIF (thank god it’s Friday). Ever since Monday, I’ve been looking forward to this legendary day before the weekend. The last hour of school is always the hardest, though; I just sit there, watching the seconds tick by ever so slowly.

What do you think of Friday? It’s obviously the best day of the week because, like, who hates Friday? (Not me, that’s for sure!)

May the force be with you. {Listen, people, I don’t watch Star Wars but that line is just awesome!)

The Teacher’s Missing Keys & How to Find Something Lost

Earlier today, my classes’ teacher announced after recess that she had lost her keys. She also said that she’d let the class have more free-time on Friday if we found her keys.

It took awhile, and trust me, it felt like millions of years to find them. What happened was, as light shone through the curtains, a wail sounded from behind me.

“I FOUND THE KEYS!!!” One of my classmates howled to the moon. We were pretty happy about it–and my teacher was too.

And so, that is how we found the keys.

How You Find Lost Things:

  • You search EVERYWHERE in your house or classroom {wherever you were last}
  • Get help from friends or family members
  • Try to remember where you left them last
  • And if that doesn’t work, sorry–it’s hopeless. { an example of my crappy sense of humor}

And may the force be with you.

Sharing a Bit of my Writing & Blabbing About Books

I promised in one of my most recent posts called “Why I Love Writing” That I would share a bit of my work with you.

Before I share it, I must add that this piece is kind of like the Dragon Rider books (with the characters Eragon & Saphira), but with different characters and story line. I only just started this yesterday, so it’s not my best work, though I will gladly share it with you. Here it is:

Dragon Rider Story Experiment -May Not Finish or Keep-

(That link may or may not work, but hopefully it does. Don’t steal the writing or add anything to it, please, if it does work).

Okay! Enough about my own writing. Time to talk about some of my favorite authors & books. I adore Warriors, Seekers & Survivors by Erin Hunter (yes, I’ve read every single book of hers) and Kathryn Lasky rocks too. I’m also checking out the series, which I can’t remember it’s name, evolving Dragon Riders and much more. Anyway, that’s all for now!

May the force be with you!

Donald Trump & The Cursed Birthday of a Classmate

Donald Trump’s birthday fell on June 14. It made everyone in the school either blink in disgust at the sound of his name or cheer for him.

I, myself, am not a fan of Trump, or the day June 14, because it was his birthday. But I couldn’t hate it that much, though, because it was one of my classmate’s birthday as well.

So I guess I can’t loathe it anymore. It’s still cursed to me, though (hopefully my classmate doesn’t find out I said that). I’m not a fan of Trump, and I always love to say to break the silence, “Don’t vote for Trump, peeps.”

And may the force be with you.

Why I Enjoy Writing

I think writing stories and ideas of my own is a fun, creative way to express emotions of any kind. Why don’t you give it a try? It is simply fabulous, and if anything a truly amazing experience.

You can write about anything you want to. No one can tell you what to do or how to do it in the world of writing, which is one of the big reasons I like it so much.

And hey, I might even post a few parts of my different stories to see what all of you think. I’ll only post my best work, though, and ONLY if I’m in a good mood will I show you my fails.

Anyway, that’s all for now. Best wishes to all of you!
